In the south of Spain, in between three national parks in a mountainous area, in the village Cortes de la Frontera we have a cultural place that offers room for two artists in residence. Besides the individual studios there's a large common space for various activities and a restful patio.

Since a few years we have this venue in the town, Cortes de la Frontera, meant to be for artists from all over the world. No, the building is not finished. But we're making progress and it's already nice to stay there. As you look at the floor map and the pictures, it's becoming a marvelous peaceful place with a lot of freedom to enjoy. There is one big Art Studio to work in, a fabulous living room with a wooden floor where workshops, classes, exhibitions or meetings can take place. The patio will become a Jungle like the Garden of Eden. Out there, on the patio, is a door to the other small building where there is a Multi Media Studio plus a spare bedroom! So we basically have room for 2 ‘artists in residence’ and a couple of activities in the common space.
While the 22CC is still in development, you can already start using it as an artist in residence. We offer you the opportunity to stay in a caravan at our house just outside of town. Our house is situated at a beautiful location with magnificent views.
